After visiting the disaster-affected areas, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took an important meeting of the officials at the State Guest House of Jolly Grant Airport. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Disaster Management Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, and all top officials were present in the meeting. During this, a preliminary report of the damage caused by heavy rains was submitted by the Disaster Management Department. After the meeting, the Union Home Minister told the media that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has done a better job in this hour of crisis. The Chief Minister has led the entire team like a skilled team leader. Timely information given by the central government and better management of the state government has reduced the damage.

The Union Home Minister said that the Central Government is standing with the State Government in this hour of crisis. The central government will provide all kinds of cooperation. The Center has already allocated the budget to the state government. Apart from this, if there is a need for an additional budget, then the government will help with that.
