So far 22.13 lakh people have got a booster dose
According to the Health Department, the estimated population of the state has been estimated at 1.21 crore. In this, the population of people above 12 years of age is more than 89.35 lakh. Those who were targeted to apply Covid vaccine. Against the target in the state, 91.15 lakh people have got the first dose and more than 87.23 lacks have got the second dose. The first dose has been administered to 100 percent of beneficiaries in the state.

The stock of the Covishield vaccine has run out in the state to apply booster dose. 30 thousand vaccines of Covaxin have been made available to the state from Haryana. Apart from this, 40 thousand more doses are going to be available. Soon 91 thousand of Covishield vaccines will be available from the central government. Udham Singh Nagar is behind in the booster dose
Udham Singh Nagar district is lagging behind in applying booster doses to eligible beneficiaries. In the district, 18 percent of the target was given the third dose, while Uttarkashi district is in the first place with 47 percent of booster doses. Chamoli district is second with 39.4 percent and Tehri is third with 33 percent.
