Rishikesh. A bike fell into a ditch near Shivpuri on the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway. In this accident, a youth riding a bike died on the spot while two youths were injured. Both the injured have been admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh. All three youths, residents of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, had left on the same bike to visit Kedarnath Dham. Inspector-in-charge Munikireti police station Ritesh Shah said that the police control room received information on Friday morning that a bike lost control and fell into a deep gorge in Shivpuri.

On information, outpost in-charge Shivpuri reached the spot with Pradeep Rawat. After hard work, the SDRF team took both the injured out of the ditch with the help of a rope stretcher. And a dead body was also taken out of the ditch and handed over to the district police.
