Keeping in mind the safety of Kumbh devotees from India and abroad and pilgrims coming for Chardham Yatra starting in May, amid the increasing pace of Corona for the last few days, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj has introduced Kovid Train Isolation from the center. It has been urged to make the coaches available. In this regard, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj has written a letter to Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that the Mahakndra Kumbh Mela of faith is moving in Haridwar. While the world-famous Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand is also going to start in May. For which pilgrims from India and abroad will come to Devbhoomi. In such a situation, keeping in mind the safety of devotees of Kumbh Mela and pilgrims coming for Chardham Yatra, the Center has been requested to provide Isolation coaches in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Having a coach care train with an isolation coach will help the Railways in the Corona transition period. He said that the state government is committed to providing a safe environment in Uttarakhand to the devotees coming from every corner of the country and the world. Providing all facilities to pilgrims is our priority.

Significantly, last year, many types of preparations were made by the Ministry of Railways to prevent corona infection. It included sanitizer manufacturing, mask making, PPE kit manufacturing, and covid care coaches for Corona patients. These coved care coaches were also installed at stations across the country.
