Dehradun. Rawal and priests will get all facilities under one roof for the successful organization of Yatra and Puja in the world-famous Shri Kedarnath Dham. For this, a three-story building will be constructed for the Rawals and priests in Kedarnath Dham. For which a budget of Rs 10 crore has been released by the government. It is the Rawal of Kedarnath that authorizes the priest for six months of worship in the Dham.

About 300 meters from Shri Kedarnath Dham, 18 rooms will be constructed in a three-story building to be built near the Saraswati river. Arrangements for Rawal Niwas, Pujari Awas, Bhog Mandi, Panther Awas, Samalia Awas, Vedpathi Awas, Puja Office, etc. will be made in this building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.39 crore. For which the Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board has received an amount of Rs 10 crore from the Government of Uttarakhand. The first installment of which was released on 27 March and the second installment on 12 July.

Dilip Jawalkar, Tourism Secretary informed that after the construction of the three-story building, the worship along with the Yatra will be organized successfully and easily. A budget of Rs 10 crore has been released by the government for this. Rawal and priests will get their direct benefit.

Ravinath Raman, Chief Executive Officer, Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board informed that land near the temple premises has been provided to Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board on behalf of the local District Magistrate for the construction of 265 square meter building. The tender process has been started for the construction work. The construction work will be started soon.
