Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will today lay the foundation stone of two tunnels in IMA

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will lay the virtual foundation stone of the two tunnels to be built in IMA Dehradun today. The foundation stone will be held at 3.30 pm in the presence of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at IMA. In this regard, IMA Commandant Lt. Gen. J.S. Negi called on the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister said that for the construction of two tunnels in the IMA, approval of Rs 45 crore has been received from the Central Government. Two tunnels (underpasses) will be built at the IMA. One tunnel will go and the other will come. During the parade, the state government and the army were also concerned about the security of the IMA.

Therefore, the Defense Minister was requested for two tunnels, to which he has given his consent. He thanked the Defense Minister for this. The construction of these tunnels will solve the problems of the movement of people during the parade. For this, there was a long demand for the army and the public.
