Pre-school will start in 5 thousand Anganwadi centers of Uttarakhand under the name Bal Vatika

Dehradun. From July 6, pre-schools under the name Bal Vatika will start in five thousand Anganwadi centers operating in government primary schools from Uttarakhand. In a virtual workshop organized by the Curriculum Department of the State Council of Educational Research and Training, the Director-General of Education said that Anganwadi workers are being trained for this by the Education Department.
Books will be made available to the children studying in these pre-schools by the education department. According to the Director-General of Education Banshidhar Tiwari, Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country to start Bal Vatika under the new education policy. Director, Academic Research and Training Seema Jaunsari said that Bal Vatika (Pre School) is starting in July.
For this, all Anganwadi workers will have to play an important responsibility. Anganwadi workers till now had the responsibility of nutrition-related work, but now they will also have the responsibility of teaching work. Which is quite challenging. The cooperation of the Child Development Department is also being taken in this. In-charge Additional Director Asha Rani Panuli said that we have to fulfill our responsibilities so that we can guide the coming generation. Head of the department Pradeep Rawat said that the workers should see this as an opportunity. In this, training and certificate courses are also being arranged for them, so that along with their personality development, the capacity enhancement will also be done. Ganga Ghughtyal, Monika Gaur, Usha Katiyar, Rai Singh Rawat etc. were present in the program.
