Dehradun. The police have arrested the accused who cheated the passengers of one lakh in the name of providing helicopter tickets for the Kedarnath Yatra. Rambhau Chogle s/o Rambhau Kaya Chogle, r/o 301, Saraswati Apartment, Kentmanivali Village, Kalyan East, Thage, who had come from Maharashtra to visit Baba Kedar, lodged a complaint with Phata Police Station on May 10.

Told that he had found a person named Ashish Chowdhary in Phata, who assured him to take him to Kedarnath by helicopter and have darshan. The person demanded one lakh from him for eight tickets. He deposited 75000 cash and 25000 rupees online in the bank account given by Ashish Chowdhary but even after waiting for a long time he did not get the helicopter ticket. Not even picking up the phone. In such a situation, he complained to the police. On this, the police registered a case against Ashish Chowdhary.
