Washington. In the midst of a legal battle with the social networking platform, US entrepreneur and Tesla founder Elon Musk has formally responded to Twitter’s allegations in court and filed a counterclaim against it. Twitter has already filed a case against Musk for breaking the $44 billion acquisition deal.

A report in the American newspaper Wall Street Journal on Saturday said that Mr. Musk has filed a retaliatory lawsuit against Twitter.

According to the report, Musk filed the case confidentially on Friday without any public announcement.
According to reports, Musk’s counter-claim could also be that Twitter changed its daily-users base on which to make money in the market soon after the deal with him. Musk’s part is also likely to be the basis for the allegation that Twitter didn’t even provide data on the fake accounts to him.

The judge hearing Twitter against Musk on Friday fixed the matter for five days a week starting October 17 for hearing. According to the report, within hours of the hearing date, a counter-suit was filed by Musk.
