Almora: In the program organized in village Kumaleswar of Salt development block of Salt assembly, Mohini Maulekhi, Talla Salt Congress leader of Salt development block along with his supporters Mahesh Jeena, Mandal Syalde Puran Rajwar, Harish Kotia, Congress leader Mohini Maulekhi in Kumaleswar. Welcoming Mohini Maulekhi with a bunch of flowers, garland and got the membership of BJP. The same Congress leader Mohani Molekhi said that I worked as an active worker in the Congress party for 32 years.

He said that I had a long journey at the Congress party. I also played an important role in the Uttarakhand movement. Taking a dig at Congress, he said that Congress only used us. Disappointed with Congress, I joined the BJP. Salt BJP candidate Mahesh Jina, in-charge Narendra Manral, Mandal President Syalde Puran Rajwar, Harish Kotia, etc. BJP workers and villagers were present in the program.
