Dehradun. Today, Hon’ble Minister Rekha Arya held a meeting with the Department of Women’s Empowerment and Child Development officials at the government residence in Yamuna Colony. In the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister discussed various topics related to the Women’s Empowerment Department with the officers.
Regarding the Anganwadi workers, the Minister said in the meeting that now the Anganwadi sisters will also get the benefit of Nanda Gaura Yojana and Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana. During the meeting, Minister Rekha Arya told the officials concerned that the proposal should be brought to the cabinet immediately. At the same time, the discussion was also held in the meeting about the Veerangana Tilu Rauteli and Anganwadi Samman Award given on 08 August every year. Which is given to the women and Anganwadi workers who have done excellent and courageous work in the state, the Minister directed the departmental officers to issue a release in a week regarding Veerangana Teelu Rauteli and Anganwadi Samman Award.
During this, Minister Rekha Arya directed the departmental officers about the Anganwadi centers running in rented buildings and that all such buildings should be paid at the earliest by removing the technical problems in the payment of dues of the buildings.
During this meeting, Secretary, Women’s Empowerment and Child Development Department, Hari Chandra Semwal, Deputy Director SK. Singh Ji, DPO Vikram Singh Ji, and District Program Officer Akhilesh Mishra were present.
