The launch of the EOS-03 satellite by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) just before the 15 August Independence Day failed. This has dealt a blow to this mission. ISRO’s ambitious mission could not be completed due to engine failure.

It had to monitor the earth from space, that is why it was also being called India’s sharpest eyes. But the mission remained incomplete. ISRO started the launch of Earth observation satellite EOS-03 via GSLV-F10 at 5:43 am today from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. It progressed successfully in the first two stages, but in the third stage, its cryogenic engine malfunctioned.

According to Spaceflight Now, ISRO failed to put the EOS-03 satellite into orbit. ISRO has confirmed that GSLV Mk. 2 launch today failed due to a defect observed in the cryogenic stage. This is the first failure in an Indian space launch since 2017. Prior to this, 14 consecutive missions of ISRO were successful.

ISRO started satellite launching at 5.43 am today. All the steps were completed according to the stipulated time. But before the separation of EOS-3 in the third stage, there was some technical fault in the cryogenic engine, due to which ISRO stopped getting the data. After this, the ISRO chief announced that this mission had partially failed.

The first mission of the year took place in February
Earlier on February 28, ISRO successfully carried out the first mission of the year. India’s rocket took off from the Sriharikota space center on 28 February carrying a Brazilian satellite for the first time.

India’s PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) C-51 carrying Brazil’s Amazonia-1 and 18 other satellites took off from the Sriharikota Space Center. The picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was engraved on the top panel of this spacecraft.
