Dehradun. Governor, retired Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat will attend the second convocation ceremony of Doon University to be held on December 15. In view of this, the Vice-Chancellor of Doon University, Surekha Dangwal told in a press conference today that the theme of the convocation to be held on December 15 this year is empowered women and it is completely dedicated to women empowerment.

He said that Mata Mangala, head of Hans Foundation and Mahant of Guru Ram Rai Darbar Shri Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, for his outstanding and remarkable contribution in the field of education, health, and social public welfare for the last several decades and to make Uttarakhand proud in the country and the world. will be decorated with the standard title of Doctor of Letters.

Vice-Chancellor Surekha Dangwal said that a total of 2 thousand 102 students would be awarded degrees in this function. Along with this, 93 students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects of various undergraduate and postgraduate of the last four years will also be awarded gold medals.
