Haridwar. Makar Sankranti bathing festival Ganga bath continues from the early hours of Saturday at all the Ganges ghats of Uttarakhand including Dharmanagari Haridwar. Taking a holy dip with chants of Har Har Gange and Jai Maa Gange. After taking bath, meditating, and worshiping Ganga, they are also donating sesame, jaggery, clothes, etc. Although according to astrological calculations, the date of the Makar Sankranti bath festival has been told this time on January 15, Sunday, on Saturday, January 14, devotees have gathered at all the Ganga ghats including Har ki Paidi Ganga Ghat to bathe in the Ganges from Alsubah itself.

On the other hand, the police administration is gearing up to get it done safely. The fair area has been divided into seven zones and 17 sectors to make the security and traffic arrangements foolproof.
