Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Uttarakhand and participated in the initiation ceremony of Swami Ram Himalayan University
Dehradun. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Uttarakhand on Saturday. He arrived here to attend the initiation ceremony of Swami Ram Himalayan University. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh awarded degrees to students of various medical courses at the fifth convocation ceremony of the university. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present on the stage along with Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Uttarakhand Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, and Vice Chancellor Vijay Dhasmana were also present on the scene.
Minister Rajnath Singh said that Swami Ram Himalayan University had established records of the welfare of humanity through medical education and health services. He said that India is writing a new chapter of progress in the whole world. In the coming 25 years, India will become the biggest economic superpower in the world. He said that before the year 2015, when India’s top economic size was top ten, today India has made it to the top five. He said that medical service is not for self but for society.
He said that India has always led the whole world and even today we have the same potential. Even today our doctors and scientists are making India proud all over the world with their achievements. He said that during the Kovid era, when the whole world was looking at each other, India worked to make vaccines available to more than a hundred countries of the world by making not one but two vaccines.
He said that we are also fully prepared for new challenges. Now we have made ourselves capable of oxygen, ventilator, and vaccine. Citing the example of Argentina’s victory in the Football World Cup, he said that teamwork is important in our lives. He said that while working with this team spirit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. He appealed to the students who got the degree to go back to society and work to make their usefulness meaningful.
Rajnath Singh reached Jollygrant Airport on Saturday at around 11.30 am and left for Swami Ram Himalayan University. On the arrival of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed him at Jollygrant Airport in Dehradun.
