Dehradun. The Uttarakhand government is in action mode in the Joshimath landslide. Today on Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will hold a meeting with experts. Secretary of Disaster Management Dr. Sinha said that under long-term measures, Joshimath’s geotechnical, geophysical, and hydrological studies will be done. Remedial steps will be taken on the basis of this. In this sequence, the Chief Minister will hold a meeting with experts from various renowned institutions on Monday. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh may come to visit Joshimath. If sources are to be believed, he will reach Joshimath on Tuesday to take stock of the landslide situation.

The landslide happening in Joshimath is now becoming a matter of concern at the national level as well. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken information from the Chief Minister in this regard. The Prime Minister’s Office has held a high-level meeting on this subject. Along with the army, ITBP companies are also deployed in Joshimath. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, MP Tirath Singh Rawat, and BJP President Mahendra Bhatt will reach Joshimath on Monday in view of the possible visit of the Defense Minister.

Member of Parliament Pauri and former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat have written letters to Union Energy Minister Hardeep Puri and Union Energy Minister RK Singh, drawing attention to the landslide happening in Joshimath. He has requested to send a team of experts to save the local residents living in Joshimath and conduct a terrestrial study there.

Member of Parliament Tirath Singh Rawat has written in his letter that a large number of buildings have been damaged due to the landslide in Joshimath. Due to this, there has arisen a danger to life and property in front of the residents there. Necessary steps should be taken to save this area and its residents.
