Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Rising Uttarakhand program organized at Wedding Point on GMS Road late in the evening on Friday. While felicitating singer Jubin Nautiyal, the Chief Minister described him as the pride of the entire Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister also sang Bedu Pako Baramas folk song along with Zubin on the occasion.

In a dialogue program organized on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that he is working with his life for the welfare of the people of the state and for the overall development of the state. While discharging his duties as a chief servant, more than 400 announcements have been made by him in the interest of the state, and necessary funds have also been issued related to their implementation.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand has now become a youth state after two decades of the establishment of the state. In the last two decades, continuous efforts have been made for the development of the state, whose effect is also visible on the ground. In these decades, experiments have been done on many aspects to make the basic structure of the development of the state. It is our endeavor to make people from different sections of the society and subject experts allies make a far-reaching plan for the all-around development of the state. For this, through the self-reliant Uttarakhand Bodhisattva thought series, it is our effort to make subject experts and enlightened people from different fields allies in determining the framework for the all-around development of the state. For this thought, a chain has been started.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all of us will have to work together to make Uttarakhand a leading state in all fields by 2025. The roadmap for the future will be prepared to keep in mind whatever suggestions will be received from the dignitaries associated with various fields.

The Chief Minister said that with the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the cooperation of the Central Government, many such works have been done in the state, which earlier seemed impossible. In the last four and a half years, various projects worth more than one lakh crore rupees have been approved by the Central Government for the state. Many of these projects have been completed and work is going on on others. We used to dream of rail in the mountain. Modi Ji has made this dream come true. Today, the work on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project and strategically and geographically important Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail project is progressing rapidly. Similarly, work is also being done on Char Dham All Weather Road, Bharat Mala Project at a fast pace. Char Dham Yatra is the lifeline for Uttarakhand and these projects will facilitate Char Dham Yatra, promote tourism, and bring revolutionary changes to our economy.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath for his cooperation in the disposal of assets between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister said that for the last 21 years, talks were going on with Uttar Pradesh for sharing of assets, but the solution could not be reached. Was being But with strong willpower, in the Chief Minister level meeting, a point-by-point agreement was reached regarding the distribution of assets one by one.

He said that in this regard, in an important meeting held recently in Lucknow, it was decided to transfer the land of the bus stand of Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department in Kichha to Uttarakhand within 15 days. Apart from this, it has also been decided to give the payment of the remaining bills of 90 crores of the forest department to Uttarakhand by the Uttar Pradesh government immediately.

Permission was given for tourism and water sports in Dhaura, Baigul, Nanak Sagar reservoir located in Udham Singh Nagar district. Water sports were also allowed in the Upper Ganges Canal. The Alaknanda Tourist Accommodation House at Haridwar will be inaugurated in December 2021 and the former Tourist Accommodation House will be transferred to Uttarakhand. It was decided in the meeting that identification of 5700 hectares of Irrigation Department land and 1700 houses would be done soon after conducting a joint survey to assess the land and building required for the use of the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department. It was agreed between the two states that various cases pending in the courts would be withdrawn and the cases would be resolved by mutual consent.

Two barrages, the Banbasa barrage on the Indo-Nepal border and the Kichha barrage which are in dilapidated condition due to damage due to disaster, these barrages will be constructed by Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department. Every effort will be made for the development of the summer capital Gairsain. Our efforts are to connect the youth with self-employment and employment. The decision has been taken to appoint 24 thousand posts in the state, out of which the process of appointment has been started on 12 thousand posts. Many decisions have been taken in the interest of teachers, personnel as well as representatives of Panchayats. He said that after studying the report of the high-level committee constituted regarding the Devasthanam Board, the appropriate decision would be taken in this regard. He said that our effort is to make Uttarakhand the best place in the world.
