The Delhi government has given another gift to the children of Delhi. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday announced that students seeking admission from private schools to government schools in Delhi cannot be denied admission for non-availability of a Transfer Certificate (TC).

Sisodia said in an online press conference, “Many families came to me that they want to get their children out of private schools and get admission in Delhi government schools due to various reasons but they do not have the TC from the existing school.”

He said it has been decided that no such student will be denied admission due to the non-availability of TC.

At the same time, regarding the reopening of schools in Delhi, Kejriwal said that not now. The information going on internationally shows that the third wave of the corona is also about to come. So we don’t want to take any risk till the vaccination process is over.
