Dehradun. The state government, the government, and the Devasthanam Management Board immediately swung into action after the High Court granted conditional permission to operate the Chardham Yatra on Thursday. Now the journey of Chardham and Hemkund Sahib will start from 18th September.

Chardham Yatra will start in Uttarakhand from tomorrow i.e. Saturday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given this information on social media. At the same time, BJP’s election in-charge and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi thanked the High Court and the state government for starting Chardham from September 18. The SOP may be issued in this regard on Friday.

Only one thousand pilgrims will visit Hemkund Sahib in a day
The doors of Hemkund Sahib, the holy shrine of Sikhs, will be opened for the devotees from September 18. Only one thousand pilgrims will be able to visit the Dham in a day. Hemkund Trust has completed its preparations for the Yatra. Narendrajit Singh Bindra, the vice-chairman of Hemkund Trust, said that devotees coming from outside states will be allowed to reach the Dham only according to the Kovid guideline. All the devotees coming here will have to register themselves in the office of Rishikesh Gurdwara Trust and bring the certificate with them. He said that children above 60 years of age and below 10 years of age should not come to the Dham. Also, passengers will not be allowed to take bath in any of the pools.

Srinivas Posti, a member of the Devasthanam Board and a senior pilgrimage priest of Kedarnath, said that the beginning of the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand is pleasant. The yatra will be successful and the livelihood of many families will get a boost. In a statement issued, Posti said that the day of Sankranti of Ashwin month is a day of happiness for Uttarakhand. Where the Chardham Yatra is starting. At the same time, it is also the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Expressing gratitude to the Nainital High Court, he said that the decision to open the yatra is related to the interest of the common man. Now, the people associated with Chardham will get employment and they will be able to maintain their families. He also thanked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
