Dehradun. In Uttarakhand also, adolescents aged 15-18 have started getting the anti-coronavirus vaccines. On the first day, 59801 adolescents were vaccinated. During this, due to technical problems, there was a hurdle in the vaccination campaign at many places. Due to which the vaccinations were done by manual entry.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has started the campaign from Sanatan Dharma Inter College located at Race Course. He said that all six lakh, 28 thousand adolescents would be vaccinated in the state in a week. He said that it is only as a result of the far-reaching thinking of Prime Minister Modi that everyone has got a shield of security. When the first wave of Kovid came into the country, many types of research were done to prevent it under the leadership of PM. The Indigenous vaccine was prepared to protect against Kovid. In the initial phase, there were limited resources to protect against Corona, after which resources were rapidly mobilized. India is also providing vaccines and other equipment to other countries. The Chief Minister said that many works were affected due to Corona. Keeping in mind the problems of all, the Prime Minister has given all possible help to the affected. Under the Food Security Scheme, a five kg ration per unit is being provided free of cost to the beneficiaries. In the state also, 10-10 kg wheat and rice are being given to NFSA cardholders, which will be given in this entire financial year.

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the adolescents studying in Uttarakhand will also be vaccinated after coming from other states. 85% target of the second dose of adult covid vaccination has also been achieved. From January 10, frontline workers and people above 60 years of age will start receiving booster doses. He said that the recruitment process for 800 posts of ANM would be completed soon. Three thousand nursing staff and one thousand ward boys will also be recruited soon. During this, Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, MLA Vinod Chamoli, District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Director General of Health Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, CMO Dr. Manoj Upreti, Principal of Doon Medical College Dr. Ashutosh Sayana, Sanatan Dharma Inter College Managing Committee Chairman Harish Virmani, etc. were present.
