Dehradun. In Rishikesh, there has been a stir in the police department after seven police personnel engaged in VIP duty of President Ram Nath Kovind were found corona infected. DGP Ashok Kumar has given instructions to conduct a Covid antigen test of all the policemen of the state on Monday.

Corona cases have started coming up once again in Uttarakhand. Policemen deployed in the security of the President and personnel of 12 other departments were found positive. After which DGP Ashok Kumar says that corona tests will be conducted for all the police personnel of the state. DGP Ashok Kumar says that in view of Corona, everyone needs to be vigilant. Whatever guideline will be issued by the state government, it will be followed.

Let us tell you that DGP Ashok Kumar instructed all the district in-charges and branch/unit in-charges to conduct rapid antigen tests of all the police personnel appointed under them to prevent corona infection. So that better medical facilities can be provided to the personnel found positive. Along with this, to prevent the spread of infection to other personnel/family members and to detect corona-infected areas.

Infected dies in General BC Joshi Covid Hospital
A 70-year-old Covid-infected patient, a resident of Nainital, admitted to the General BC Joshi Covid Hospital in Kumaon, died. The patient was admitted to the hospital on November 15. According to Medical College Principal Dr. Arun Joshi, the situation was critical since the time of the patient’s admission. There was also pneumonia, respiratory and other problems. After about three months in the hospital, someone infected with Covid has died.

All the officers of FRI are completely healthy
Corona-infected IFS officers from states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, who have come for training at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, will be sent to their parent cadre states on Tuesday. On the instructions of District Magistrate Dr. R Rajesh Kumar, the team led by Health Department officials went to the academy on Sunday and examined the health of the corona-infected IFS officers. Academy’s Additional Director SK Awasthi said that at present all the officers are completely healthy and they do not have any kind of problem. Therefore, in view of their better health, the Health Department team has given permission to send all the officers to their native cadre states till 12 Tuesday. According to Additional Director SK Awasthi, all IFS officers will be sent to their parent cadre states on Tuesday.

Let us inform you that 48 IFS officers from all the states of the country had come for mid-term training at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy. These officers were sent for training at IIM Lucknow and New Delhi. But when the corona test of the officers was done in New Delhi, 11 officers were found to be corona infected. Out of which three corona-infected officers were sent from New Delhi to their native cadre states. While eight officers were sent to Dehradun and quarantined in the academy.
