Kedarnath. Prime Minister Modi began his address with chants of ‘Jai Baba Kedar’. He said that this is a supernatural view of the breadth of India’s culture. He saluted all the saints and saints of the country. It is said that India has a great sage tradition. Said it would take a week if I would name everyone. Whenever I come here, I get attached to every particle. Said that I have an old relation with Garudachatti. Said that on the day of Govardhan Puja, I have got the good fortune of Kedarnath Darshan. Rapid development work is going on in Kedarnath. During the disaster of 2013, I had seen the devastation here with my own eyes. During this, Prime Minister Modi became emotional remembering the Kedarnath disaster. Said that the damage done here years ago was unimaginable. People who used to come here used to think that will this our Kedar Dham stand up again? But my inner voice was saying that it would stand with more pride than ever before.

Modi said that the reconstruction which I had dreamed of is being fulfilled today. Which is fortunate. This combination of modernity with the eternal on this primitive land, these development works are the result of the natural grace of Lord Shankar. During this, the Prime Minister praised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Said that I thank the Uttarakhand government, Chief Minister Dhami, and all the people who have taken the responsibility of these works for these noble efforts. He also thanked the workers who did the Kedarnath Dham reconstruction work. Appreciated his work amidst snowfall and severe cold. During this, he also expressed his gratitude to the priests and Rawals.

The Prime Minister said that the meaning of Shankar in Sanskrit is ‘Sham Karoti Saha Shankarah’, that is, the one who does welfare, he is Shankar. This grammar was also directly certified by Acharya Shankar. The more extraordinary his life was, the more he was devoted to the welfare of the common man. Adi Shankaracharya’s life was for the welfare of India and the world. Today you are witnessing the re-establishment of the Samadhi of Shri Adi Shankaracharya. It is a supernatural view of India’s spiritual prosperity and breadth. He said that we have nothing to do with caste discrimination. There was a time when spirituality, religion were seen only by linking it with stereotypes. But, Indian philosophy talks about human welfare, looks at life in a holistic way with completeness. Adi Shankaracharya has done the work of making society aware of this truth.

The Prime Minister said that Adi Shankaracharya established holy monasteries, established the Char Dhams, did the work of renaissance of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Adi Shankaracharya has created a strong tradition for those who have sacrificed everything and lived for the country, society, and humanity. Said that the importance of Chardham Yatra has been here for centuries. The darshan of the twelfth Jyotirlinga, the darshan of the Shaktipeeths, the darshan of the Ashtavinayak, is the tradition of all these journeys. This pilgrimage is considered a part of our lifetime here. Now our cultural heritage, centers of faith, are being looked upon with the same pride as it should be. Today a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram is being built in Ayodhya with full glory, Ayodhya is getting its glory back.

PM Modi said that just two days ago, the whole world saw the grand celebration of Deepotsav in Ayodhya. Today we can imagine how the ancient cultural form of India must have been. Similarly, Kashi is also being rejuvenated in Uttar Pradesh. The work of Vishwanath Dham is progressing towards completion at a very fast pace. Now the country sets big goals for itself. sets hard deadlines, so some people say – how will all this happen in such a short amount of time! It will happen or it will not happen! Then I say that it is not acceptable for India to be intimidated by being bound by the limits of time.

PM Modi said that rapid development work is being done in Uttarakhand. As a result of this, the number of devotees coming to Chardham Yatra is increasing continuously. If there was no corona, it would have been even more so.
