Revenue climbs to Rs 5,788 crore

Trent Ltd, the retail arm of the Tata Group, announced standalone operating revenue of Rs 5,788 crore for the July‑September quarter, marking a 23 % increase year‑on‑year from Rs 4,724 crore recorded in the same period last year.

The six‑month total (April‑September) also rose to Rs 11,454 crore, up 21 % YoY, underscoring the sustained momentum across its brand portfolio.

Zudio crosses the 1,000‑store threshold

Value‑fashion label Zudio celebrated the launch of its 1,000th outlet during the quarter, adding a net 17 new stores. Its sister brand Westside contributed 10 additional locations.

Together, Trent’s brands operated 1,342 stores across India as of 30 September 2026, highlighting a vigorous expansion in tier‑II and tier‑III cities.

Analyst coverage turns bullish

International brokerage BofA Securities initiated coverage on Trent and assigned a ‘Buy’ rating, citing the consistent top‑line growth and the company’s aggressive expansion blueprint.

Store rollout remains the core growth driver

With Zudio now surpassing the 1,000‑store landmark and the overall network swelling past 1,300 outlets, Trent is cementing its position as a leading force in India’s organised retail landscape. Investors are closely monitoring how the retailer leverages fresh store openings to power future earnings.
