New Delhi. Apple officially opened sales for its brand‑new iPhone 18 Pro series on 18 September. The range comprises two models – the iPhone 18 Pro and the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max. Buyers can tap into a suite of incentives, including bank‑card cashbacks, attractive trade‑in values for older devices, and a no‑cost EMI plan.
Pricing and storage options vary across the lineup. The base 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro is priced at roughly ₹1,64,900, while the top‑end 2 TB version reaches about ₹3,14,900. The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at approximately ₹1,79,900 for its 256 GB variant and climbs to near ₹3,29,900 for the 2 TB model.
Shoppers using eligible bank cards can instantly receive a cashback of up to ₹7,000. In addition, trading in an older smartphone can fetch a credit ranging between ₹21,000 and ₹81,500, depending on the device’s make, model and condition.
For those who prefer to spread the cost, Apple offers a zero‑interest EMI for up to six months. The monthly instalment for an iPhone 18 Pro starts at roughly ₹26,316.
Display and chipset
The iPhone 18 Pro sports a 6.3‑inch panel, whereas the Pro Max upgrades to a 6.9‑inch LTPO OLED screen. Both displays are claimed to support a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Under the hood, the devices run on Apple’s new A20 Pro processor built on a 2 nm process, paired with iOS 27.
Camera breakthroughs
Photography receives a major lift: each model houses a 48 MP main sensor, a 48 MP 4× periscope telephoto lens, and a 48 MP ultra‑wide shooter**, all complemented by a LiDAR depth sensor.
iPhone Duo debut
Apple also unveiled its inaugural foldable, the iPhone Duo, with sales slated to begin on 23 September. The entry‑level variant is expected to be priced around ₹2.99 lakh, while the premium configuration may touch roughly ₹4.5 lakh.
How to place an order and claim trade‑in value
Customers can head to Apple’s official website, pick their preferred model, storage tier and colour, and then proceed to checkout. To obtain a trade‑in quote, simply enter the IMEI of the old handset in the dedicated section; the system will display an estimated credit.
During payment, selecting an eligible bank card may trigger instant discounts or the advertised cashback. Delivery windows differ based on model, storage size, colour and the buyer’s PIN code, with some configurations potentially arriving in October.
After confirming the purchase, users can monitor their shipment by logging into the Order Status portal on Apple’s site, where the exact delivery date and related details are displayed.
