Dehradun. Congress national general secretary and media chief Randeep Surjewala, while addressing a press conference in Dehradun, accused the central and state government of ignoring and insulting the army. On the other hand, BJP state spokesperson Suresh Joshi retaliated on the allegations of the Congress leader and said that Congress has always been insulting the soldiers. When the Congress government was at the center, they always kept the need for state-of-the-art weapons and equipment on the margins. Congress never respected the soldiers nor took necessary steps for their interests during their reign.

Suresh Joshi said that the soldiers who go to serve the country, do anything to protect the country, those who bear the burning sun in the 50-degree temperature in the desert, do not even allow the enemy to wander by carrying the tricolor in the sea for months. Congress never respected him. Congressmen can never understand the penance of the brave sons of the country. This is the thinking of the Congress, due to which our heroes were not given the necessary facilities on the border, this is the thinking due to which these people refused to give even bullet-proof jackets. These people are standing with those who raised slogans of Bharat Tere Tukde Honge.

Before 1997, when our brave soldiers were martyred on the border, the Congress government used to inform the military families by sending black boxes, black blankets, and five paise postcards that your son was martyred. Whereas the Atal government of BJP not only did the work of transporting the mortal remains of the martyr soldiers of the country to their motherland with respect for the first time. Along with this, taking care of the affected families, started the glorious tradition of proper financial and other help.
