Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin held delegation-level talks in Vladivostok. PM Modi told Putin that your invitation to Eastern Economic Forum is a great honor for me. This is a historic opportunity to give a new dimension to the support between the two countries. PM Modi said that you have announced that I will be awarded the highest civilian award of Russia. I thank you and the people of Russia. It shows the friendly relations between the people of our two countries. It is an honor for 130 crore Indians.

He said that Russia is an integral friend and trusted partner of India. You have personally focused on expanding our special and privileged strategic partnership. We have met regularly as two integral friends. I have talked to you on many issues over the telephone, I have never hesitated.

PM Modi Visits The Shipbuilding Complex
Nowadays Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Russia. In Vladivostok here, Prime Minister Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two leaders were warmly embraced and set out to tour the shipbuilding complex. The two leaders left in a boat together.

Russia is Building Two Sword Class Warships For India
For the Navy, an agreement was signed between India and Russia in October 2018 for four advance sword class warships. Out of which two warships are being built at Russia’s Yantar Shipyard. While two others will be built at the Goa Shipyard in India under Make in India. These warships will have surface surveillance radars and BrahMos anti-shipping and land-attack missiles built in the country.

PM Modi Was Warmed Welcomed And Given The Guard of Honor
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was strongly welcomed at Vladivostok International Airport. Here he was given the Guard of Honor. Modi then arrived at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok, where Indian immigrants received a grand welcome.

Prime Minister Modi will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on regional and international issues during the two-day visit on September 4 and 5. The meeting is taking place in Vladivostok, Russia. Modi will also participate in the 20th annual India-Russia summit.

Before leaving for the visit, Modi said here that he is keen to hold talks with his friend and Russian President Putin on regional and international issues of mutual interest and the desire of the two countries to further strengthen mutual relations. Modi is going to invite Putin to the fifth Eastern Economic Forum being held in Vladivostok. Modi said that in the multi-polar world, the two countries have come forward for mutual cooperation and a unique yoga app will be released during their visit. He hopes that more and more Russian siblings will incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

Special Chemistry With Putin
In an interview to Russian dialogue committee Taas, Modi said he had a special chemistry with Putin. He is confident that his visit will give new dimensions, new energy to the relations between the two countries. The TAS report states that India and Russia will sign 15 documents. These also include military-tech sectors. Apart from this, India Russia summit will also be done apart from this EEF program. He said that he did not want India and Russia to confine military technology to customers and sellers only. Today, if the technology is given, military equipment can be manufactured in India at a low cost and they can be sold to third world countries at low prices. Referring to the space mission Gaganyaan, including India’s humans, said that Russia will help train India’s astronauts.
