Exam Date and Mode

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has announced that the Group‑B Nursing Officer selection test will take place on 21 October 2026. The assessment will be administered as a Computer‑Based Test (CBT) during the morning session, following the timetable released on 5 October.

Admit‑Card Publication

Admit cards are expected to be uploaded on the PGIMER portal by 14 October 2026. Aspirants can download their hall tickets from the official website pgimer.edu.in.

Steps to Download the Admit Card

Log in with the same user ID and password used for the online application, then go to Students → Info for Candidates. Once the file appears, save it promptly and verify that all personal information is accurate.

Exam Centre Details on the Admit Card

The admit card will show the candidate’s roll number, assigned examination centre with full address, and reporting time. It will also mention gate‑opening and closing timings along with other vital instructions. Candidates should review these particulars carefully before travelling to avoid any last‑minute hassles.

City Allocation Notification

Applicants who completed the online registration will receive an email indicating the city of their allotted centre. PGIMER advises candidates to monitor their registered email inbox regularly for updates. While the institute attempts to honor the city preference given during registration, final allocation depends on seat availability, infrastructure and logistical considerations, which may result in a centre outside the chosen city or even in another state.

Centre‑Change Policy

Requests for changing the allotted centre will not be entertained. Candidates must accept the venue printed on their admit card and arrange travel only after confirming the final location.

Application Window Closure

The online application window closed on 3 October 2026. Applicants can still view and download their submitted forms from the recruitment portal until 11:55 pm on 6 October 2026. After this deadline, the portal will be deactivated.
