Dehradun. Former Uttarakhand CM and Congress election campaign committee chairman Harish Rawat said that after coming to power in the year 2022, he will shift the capital to Gairsain in two-and-a-half to three years after infrastructure development and mobilizing infrastructural facilities. The assembly building in Gairsain has not been constructed to house a museum. He said that on the first day of the session on November 29, Congress would take out a grand rally in Gairsain to warn the government.

Talking to reporters at the Congress headquarters, Harish Rawat and Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal put the BJP in the dock on the issue of Gairsain. On this occasion, the former CM Rawat said that in the name of Gairsain, BJP is cheating the people of the state.

Despite being the summer capital, holding a session there in winter raises questions about the intention of the government. Earlier, State President Ganesh Godiyal said that the stand of Congress is clear on the issue of Gairsain. No one should doubt the intentions of the party.

He said that nine months ago, former Chief Minister of BJP Trivendra Rawat had announced to make Gairsain the summer capital during the session, but since then till now, from CM to CS and from Divisional Commissioner to Commissioner, leave even a single employee. Gairsain did not go. In such a situation, questions are being raised on the announcement of the government itself.

Harish Rawat raised questions about Gairsain

  • How much work did the government do for the development of infrastructure in Gairsain in the last five years?
  • What work did the government do on the Bharadisain township project announced in the Congress government?
  • Where did the budget of Rs 57 thousand crores announced for infrastructure development in Gairsain go?
  • 57 crores given in the account of the District Magistrate for the Secretariat and 500 residential buildings in the Congress government, what happened to that money?
  • Where is the Gairsain Vikas Parishad and what role is it playing?
  • How much construction has been done on the six major roads announced to connect Gairsain?
  • After denotifying Bharadisain which people have bought how much land there?
  • What is the current status of Bharadisain Infrastructure Development Corporation?

If BJP starts, we will not leave either: Rawat
In the past, the BJP-Congress parties had left behind the defection blasts around Diwali. When asked questions from journalists in this regard, former CM Harish Rawat said that if BJP teases us, we will not leave. Then there will be a big bang, not a blast, which BJP will not be able to tolerate.

Our Lokayukta would have turned six today
Harish Rawat has once again surrounded the BJP government on the issue of Lokayukta. He said that BJP had promised the appointment of Lokayukta in 100 days in its manifesto, but even today the Lokayukta bill is pending with the Governor. It is also not being told why he is not being brought out.

Vijay Sankalp Shankhnaad program will now be held on 11
Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal said that the BJP has been shocked by Yashpal Arya leaving the party. He said that Congress had announced Vijay Sankalp Shankhnaad program to welcome Yashpal Arya at Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani on November 10, BJP kept the Chief Minister’s program at a distance of 100 meters on the same day. Which is also against political etiquette. He said that this program of the Congress party will now be organized on November 11.
