The graph of corona infection in Uttarakhand is increasing. On Sunday, 53 patients have been found to be corona positive. This has been confirmed by Additional Secretary Health Couple Kishore Pant. At the same time, a woman doctor of Doon Medical College Hospital has also been found infected. Dr. MS Khatri, Deputy MS of Doon Medical College and State Coordinator of Corona, gave information.

With this, now the number of active patients in the state has reached 802. According to the report released by the health department, 25 cases have been found in Dehradun, 15 in Haridwar, six in Pauri, six in Uttarkashi, and one in Rudraprayag today. There are still 692 active cases in the state. So far, the highest number of cases have been 229 in Nainital and 210 in Dehradun.

Additional secretary couple Kishore Pant said that 102 patients have recovered and returned to their homes. Four government labs are currently under investigation for 6133 samples. Their report is awaited.

Community transition has not spread
Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh said that corona infection has not yet come in the phase of community spread in the state. All the positive cases have come, their travel history and contact tracing continue. Most of the cases are coming from outside migrants getting infected. The health department is fully prepared to deal with the infection.

Talking to the media, he appealed to the public that more discipline needs to be maintained in the coming days. Said that gradually the market is being relaxed, but people do not have to let the crowd gather in the shops.
