Haldwani. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state’s IT Academy would be opened in Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani. This will help in technological development in the state and will prove to be a milestone in strengthening the modern education of teachers and students in the state. The CM said that he is trying to make the youth of Uttarakhand the number one state of India.

On Wednesday, as the chief guest at the State Foundation Day function at the Mini Stadium, CM Dhami informed about all the plans of his time. Apart from the announcement of the IT Academy, he said that the dividend of the ration vendors of the state to be allotted under the food grain scheme in the state would be increased from Rs 18 to Rs 50 per quintal. Like the state employees, the dearness allowance of the employees of the corporation will also be increased from 17 to 28 percent after the approval of their board.

The CM told the children sitting in the audience gallery that a tin shed would be installed at this place. Along with this, he also announced to name the road leading to Baluti, the village of former CM ND Tiwari, as ND Tiwari Marg. Earlier, Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Ajay Bhatt praised the CM and told about the welfare schemes from the state to the Centre.

CM Dhami said that earlier we had been ordered to make the roads potholed by November 7. The work was affected due to the disaster. So now the time has been extended by one more week. For this, the government will work on mission mode. The CM has given a stern warning that if a pothole is seen on the roads after a week, then strict action will be taken against the responsible officials.
