Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP National President J.P. Nadda on Monday inaugurated the Shaheed Samman Yatra organized for the construction of Sainik Dham at Sawad Chamoli. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the martyrs at the Martyrs Memorial in Sawad. Two minutes of silence was also observed in the memory of the martyrs. The families of the martyrs were also honored during the program. Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, BJP State President/MLA Madan Kaushik were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is my good fortune that I have got the privilege of bowing down to this land of the heroes of Sawad. Be it the First World War, the Second World War, the Peshawar incident, the freedom struggle of the country, or the post-independence wars. The heroes of this earth have shown their skills by staying in the front line and making their supreme sacrifice. Even today the youth of this valley are asked what do you want to do in life, then their answer is to go to the army and serve Mother India.

The Chief Minister said that it is the valor of the heroes that ensures that any nation moves ahead in its path of progress peacefully. It is a matter of pride for our country that the brave soldiers of our country showed unequaled bravery in every struggle that took place after independence.

The Chief Minister said that our army has basically only one motto “Nation First” and for this, the soldiers are always ready to give their all. Devbhoomi of Uttarakhand has given lakhs of brave soldiers to this country, who have shown with their indomitable courage that Devbhoomi can not only show the path of peace to the whole world but can also display valor and valor. The Chief Minister said that being the son of an ex-serviceman, it is a matter of pride for me that I am present in front of all of you in this program dedicated to the brave soldiers. I have not only seen the valor of soldiers since childhood, but I have also seen the struggle of their families. I have seen the pain of the parent whose son is fighting for the country’s pride on the border. I have seen tears in the eyes of the wife who, while waiting for the arrival of her husband, does not know when she becomes ill. Heard the sobbing cries of children who are anxious to hug their father. There is so much struggle in the life of a soldier, but in spite of this, he is always ready to save the self-respect of his country firmly.

The Chief Minister said that the dedication of the Central and State Government towards the soldiers is not hidden from anyone. Be it the rule of Atal Ji or the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji at present, every effort has been made to ensure that the brave soldiers and their families who have laid down their lives for the country get their rightful due. The country is progressing strongly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The moral of the army has increased phenomenally. The army has full freedom to decide. He said that might be always filled within our army. But the Prime Minister has done the work of honoring that feat, changing the lives of soldiers and taking decisions sensitive to them.

The Chief Minister said that it is the effort of the Central and State Governments to always remember the unprecedented contribution of the martyrs. For this, a military Dham is being constructed in the Virbhoomi of Uttarakhand. By bringing the soil of the house and courtyard of the martyr soldiers of all the 13 districts, including it in the construction of Military Dham, they will work to provide inspiration to the coming generations by their sacrifice. Many schemes are being run by the Central and State Governments for the benefit of soldiers and ex-servicemen. One rank, one pension was a demand for a long time, but only the Modi government paid attention to it because they not only understand the pain of a soldier but also try to remove it. The Chief Minister said that the State Government would definitely fulfill its ultimate goal of Antyodaya. Uttarakhand will be made the leading state of India by 2025.
