Dehradun: Influencer Anurag Dobhal has been named in a fresh FIR after a local resident filed a complaint alleging physical assault, intimidation and related offences. The report was lodged at Nehru Colony police station on the basis of a statement made by Raj Singh Chauhan.
Law enforcement agencies have opened a formal investigation and are presently cross‑checking the details outlined in the complaint.
Altercation Said to Have Begun During a Meeting
According to the FIR, Chauhan travelled to a location near a Nexa showroom adjoining the Yellow Hills Café on the evening of 5 October with the intention of meeting Dobhal and several acquaintances.
He contends that a verbal disagreement erupted around 8 p.m., which swiftly escalated into a physical confrontation.
Chauhan alleges that Dobhal attempted to choke him while other men present struck him with sticks and metal objects, and that a vehicle was subsequently driven toward him.
Alleged Theft of Phone and Gold Chain
The complainant told investigators he sustained injuries during the scuffle and that his mobile phone and a gold chain were taken from him. He maintains that he was able to leave the scene after the clash.
These assertions have not yet been independently verified; police are examining the factual matrix surrounding the episode.
Continued Threats After the Incident
Chauhan further asserts that the harassment did not stop at the venue. He reports receiving threatening phone calls and Instagram messages directed at both him and his family members.
The FIR lists Dobhal alongside Abhay Chaudhary, Tapan Pandit, Abhishek Tiger, Abhinav Srivastava and Guru Bhai, among others.

Nehru Colony police have recorded the case under Sections 117(2), 191(2) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on Chauhan’s allegations.
Evidence collection is underway and statements are being taken to reconstruct the sequence of events. No definitive conclusions have been drawn yet; the investigation will determine each accused’s role as it proceeds.
