Alert has also been issued in the state due to the outbreak of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome in Bihar. On Thursday, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar instructed Chief Medical Officers of all the districts to take precautionary measures through video conferencing.
During this, he has also asked the other departments to coordinate so that the cleanliness, clean water and food supply of the area can be ensured by preventing the production of harmful bacteria.

In the video conferencing, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar said that in Uttarakhand, the conditions of acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) have not yet been revealed. Regardless, all the districts have been kept on alert for this.

In this regard, the Director General of Health has instructed all the districts to issue advisory for preparations and prevention. So that, if any case arises, this fever can be stopped immediately after spreading.
The Chief Secretary said that the rainy season has started. Coordination with municipal corporations should be established in such a way that there is no waterlogging and dirt. To ensure a continuous supply of clean drinking water to the water institution, the district authorities have also instructed.

Additional Secretary Health and Director National Health Mission said that preparations for the prevention and treatment of swine flu and other vector-borne diseases along with this fever in the state have been completed. In addition, the Chief Medical Officers have also instructed to monitor such diseases.
